ABOUT ANDREAS HAJA
Dr. Andreas Haja is a Professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Emden Germany, where he researches and teaches at the faculty of technology. Since 2019, he is creating educational YouTube-Videos and online learning materials in the areas of electronics and computer science under the label \"The Fearless Engineer\". Also, Dr. Haja is a technology expert for autonomous driving, driver assistance systems and computer vision with more than 10 years of professional experience. His experience is based on positions in corporate research and in advance development with Bosch and VW, on current research at university and on several years of technology consulting (including in-depth written reports and keynote talks) in the driverless car space. From 2008 until 2013, Dr. Haja was Project Manager for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with Volkswagen. In addition to the development and testing of new ADAS systems, Dr. Haja has been responsible for strategic advice on camera technology as well as for supplier assessment, innovation management and for supporting procurement procedures in the ADAS space. From 2005 until 2008, Dr. Haja was Computer Vision Expert with Bosch. He was responsible for developing stereo camera algorithms for the automotive aftermarket division.
