ABOUT ANDREAS BERNARDI
I have more than 32 years of professional experience in the areas of aromatics recovery, refining and petrochemicals. My experience includes technical studies, offers, basic and detail engineering for new and revamp units, as well as project management services for respective projects. During my employment with Uhde company I was the responsible technologist for the Uhde Morphylane Aromatics Extractive Distillation process. I served as a project engineer process, lead process engineer and project manager on several jobs for clients around the world. As the Team Leader Process Engineering of INDUREST company’s process team (eight employees) I was responsible for all process issues related to the Engineering Services provided for several clients at German sites.Since January 2015 I work with Jacobs Projects GmbH as Principal Process Engineer in Jacobs\' office in Cologne, Germany. Since January 2018 I support the Department Head Process as Assistant Department Head. My responsibilities within the Process department are Quality and Workshare. End of April 2019 the merge of Jacobs\' ECR division (Energy, Chemicals and Resources) with WorleyParsons completed to form the Worley Group. In August 2021 I have been promoted to the Department Manager Process Engineering.
