About Andrea Prinzi

I am a clinical microbiologist and outcomes researcher with over 16 years of experience in clinical microbiology and an academic foundation that includes an MPH (epidemiology), a PhD in Clinical and Translational Science, and additional master\'s-level training in Implementation Science. My work has focused on the intersection of diagnostics, clinical care, and evidence-based decision-making. My career has been shaped by a sustained interest in how diagnostic tools influence patient outcomes and the implementation frameworks needed to realize their potential in diverse care settings.In my current role as Director of Global Medical Scientists, I oversee the strategic direction of clinical evidence generation.
