About Andrea Phox
LOOKING WITH NEW EYESI have been photographing and filming people for over 30 years. My experience begins in 1980 working as an IATSE camera assistant with the finest Academy Award winning Cinematographers in the Motion Picture Industry. I eventually found my passion pulling focus for the steadicam system.(see resume and IMDB data base).When I started in cinema it was old school style using 16 & 35 mm motion and still film. Today my equpment is a digital SLR Canon 5Dm2 along with my arsenal of lenses.(see equipment list below)I opened my studio in 2002 and specialize in portraiture, event and landscape photography. Since 2011 I opened a second company specializing in Dance photography and camp imaging.I interpret the world through my lens and use digital processing software to make the images unique.It is a wonderful but challenging time to be a photographer. The market is flooded with affordable digital cameras and many people have great equipment.As a Professional Certified Photographer, http://certifiedphotographer.com/ I am committed to educating my self at Certified Schools and enter competitons nationally and internationally.
