ABOUT ANDREA MOTTA

I am an enthusiast multilingual Senior SEO Manager fluent in English, Italian and Spanish with extensive experience in Search Engine Optimisation but also PPC, Social Media and Email Marketing. I started as a sports journalist, taking part at major sports event such as Italian Serie A, Premier League and Champions League and interviewing plenty of top football stars (just to name a couple: Atletico Madrid\'s head coach Diego Simeone and former Tottenham Hotspur\'s manager Mauricio Pochettino). Then - after working for several newspapers, including the Guardian and the Daily Mail - I fell in love with SEO & Digital Marketing and decided to turn my career into this direction. Why SEO and Digital Marketing? Easy: due to their day-to-day creativity, the chance to work with new different clients every day and the opportunity to always learn something new and interesting, while working alongside professionals with a variety of backgrounds, cooperating together to build SEO and marketing strategies. In recent years, I have had the opportunity to design and implement effective SEO and Digital Marketing strategies, making key decisions for my clients and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders - from product owners and web developers to business development managers and graphic designers. My focus has been on leveraging SEO to drive meaningful, high-quality traffic, achieving consistent MoM and YoY growth, and ultimately boosting key client KPIs such as lead generation, event sign-ups, and online purchases across search engines and emerging LLM-powered platforms. Always passionate about travelling and getting to know different cultures, I enjoyed living, studying and working in the UK for 10 years (20••••21), prior to moving back to Italy in 2022.
