ABOUT ANDREA LAVINE

Since healthcare, public health, standards in care, and technology have all changed. What has not changed: the intersection with individuals. Whether acting as a Paramedic, Social Worker, Health Policy Analyst, Community or Lay Leader at the center of every decision and action is the individual our actions affect. In every situation the ability to enhance the skills of a team to work cohesively towards solution based processes requires assessing and utilizing team skills in communication, leadership, analysis and identification of a root cause, leading to targeted solutions. Leadership, collaboration, professionalism, adaptability, and ability to resolve complicated situations with calm integrity have made me a valuable employee as well as a valuable advocate. Vision and the ability to integrate these skills with empirical data, evidence based best practice formulate the path to intellectual curiosity and education with which to further the collective goals of the Organization. I am always in search of opportunities to expand my knowledge, experience, ability to learn from others, and opportunities to engage my intellectual curiosity.
