Serving at an elementary school completing push-in and pull-out treatment. Collaborates with special education and general education teachers, administration, families, outside services, and other service providers (OT, PT, audiologists, paraprofessionals, nurses, ELL teachers) to provide team treatment. Provide treatment for students with Individualized Education Programs with a continuum of needs. Assess students for eligibility for services based on the presence of communication disorders.Worked for 5 years in a developmental preschool program with 3-5 year-old students. Has experience completing multidisciplinary preschool assessments virtually. Completed workshops to support my work with multilingual/English Language Learners, which make up majority of my schools\' populations.Serve on the SLP program leadership team (2019-present) as a regional representative, and a SLP representative on the district ESA Racial Equity Team. On the district SLP Racial Equity Team, collaborate to discuss issues relevant to our field, present information to our whole SLP group, and create/share resources that are intersectional, representative, and affirming of neurodiversity.
