ABOUT ANDREA LEE

As a principal UX researcher at LinkedIn, I lead global UX research strategy, partnering with a global team of researchers, product managers, designers, and engineers to make LinkedIn more valuable for over 1 billion members around the world.I am a seasoned research leader and people manager, helping to build LinkedIn\'s UX research team to become more diverse and high impact by focusing on craft, storytelling, and collaborative cross-functional relationships, bringing product teams along for a shared learning journey.My passions are at the intersection of global business, culture, and human-centered design, inspiring focus and conviction on how to build valuable solutions for the end user. I thrive in fast paced, multi-sided marketplace businesses that solve for complex and strategic member problems. I have a diverse background in business, strategy, design, and art, with interdisciplinary experience as an International Manager at HSBC holding country, regional (EMEA + APAC), and global strategy roles in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore. I hold an MBA in Design Strategy from California College of the Arts and a BA in visual arts and art history from Columbia University. I live in San Francisco, where I am an artist. I paint portraits and host creative workshops.
