Provides executive support to the UWP Compliance Officer (CO) and assists the UW Medicine Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Directors as needed. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in handling confidential, sensitive legal and compliance issues involving UW Medicine executive leadership, School of Medicine leadership, department chairs, directors and administrators. Ensure the CO’s priorities and obligations are met by confirming maintenance of complex calendars and schedules which includes meetings, audits, policy development, financial briefings, strategic planning and travel. Delegated authority in managing the Compliance Officer’s electronic mail. Develop and maintain confidential communications and personnel documentation.Serve as primary liaison managing incoming, high-level administrative contacts on complex and sensitive issues with extreme diplomacy and discretion. Prioritize and manage workflow and meetings involving the CO and executive heads of UW, UW Medicine and counsel for UW and UWP on facilitating timely policy development, addressing emergent personnel matters, completing committee work and participating in strategic planning.Project Management for large-scale space planning project: timeline management, building relationships with vendors and movers, reorganizing space and consolidation of 50+ employee cubicles.Assists CO with budget and personnel communication during executive and/or advisory committee meetings, including independently preparing meeting agendas and their contents, gathering, synthesizing and disseminating information, attending meetings, drafting and editing comprehensive, technical and legal meeting summaries.Administrative Lead, training the administrative staff for other directors across the unit. Create and manage key materials to support processes related for administrative reviews. Maintain harmonious working relationships while effectively addressing sensitive and complex administrative issues.
