As a Operations Manager I have the responsibility of managing and coordinating the operational departments to achieve contractual requirements defined with the customer. I directly coordinate a Team of Department Managers (Area Managers) who support me in the management of a warehouse that has about 2 thousand people Since day one we have chosen direct management for our people. Main responsibilities are- checking the service levels using performance indicators and ensure their achievement- coordinates the operational departments to ensure compliance with the production plan- evaluate Department Managers and defines their development plans and actions- analyze the performance, share plan for continuous improvement aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs- enforcing and transmitting the importance of safety and quality- identifies critical issues regarding Health & Safety standards and proposes corrective interventions- Elaborates and produces periodic reports for the customer.
