ABOUT ANDREA BEÇA
Hello! I\'m a queer, non-binary filmmaker originally from Edmonton, Alberta, now based in Vancouver, BC. I\'ve been working as a writer, director, and producer for over 18 years, and as a film editor for 13. I\'m so grateful to have had the opportunity to produce my own work across many genres including horror, sketch comedy, drama, and documentary, as well as working on a number of series and feature films for broadcasters and platforms including TELUS STORYHIVE, CBC, PBS, Hallmark, Paramount, Netflix, and Disney. Storytelling is my through-line in life, and focus on underrepresented and marginalized folks and stories (both in front of the camera and on set) will always be my top priority.
