Establish scientific or technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management. Develop or implement standards, or procedures for engineering and technical work. • Perform administrative functions, such as reviewing writing reports and tenders by assessing project feasibility by analysing technology and goals requirements. • Achieve productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety & Key Performance Indicators objectives. • Identify and coordinate improvements in the facility and equipment area necessary to meet the various commitments for the plant and cost objectives. • Drive performance management to ensure a high level of performance through accountability, training, coaching and employee/team development. • Drive the implementation of automatisation equipment for the process control, dehydration equipment, chemical consumption and plant management. • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist in solving operational issues. • Assess the operating efficiency of process treatment plant and equipment. • Treatment process designing, development, management, including performing cost-benefit analyses, quoting and selecting equipment, and reviewing plans. • Design process flow diagrams and calculations. • Perform mathematical dynamic modelling of process optimisation of blower, pumps, dehydration systems and dosing pumps. • Design sequence diagrams for PLC design, process flow diagrams and calculations. • Prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams and other schematics for proposed process improvements • Manage chemicals supply to achieve cost/efficiency requirements. • Evaluate chemical equipment and processes to identify ways to optimise instruments and process performance and determine most effective arrangement of operations.
