About Andrea Strauss

Mission-driven researcher in the CPG and consulting space seeking my next opportunity in strategy, innovation, and consumer research at the intersection of food, nutrition, and sustainability. As an Senior Innovation Analyst at RTI Innovation Advisors, I currently work with global clients in the food, agriculture, CPG, and sustainability sectors, helping them navigate their innovation journeys through insights, strategy, and commercialization services. I leverage my multidisciplinary research background and domain expertise in nutrition, food science, sustainable food systems, alternative protein, and consumer behavior to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs and goals.I hold a Master of Science in Biochemical and Molecular Nutrition from Tufts University, where I conducted research on cricket-based alternative protein in the Vitamins & Carcinogenesis Lab. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from St. Lawrence University. I spent my early career in neurosurgery clinical research where I published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as spinal surgery outcomes. I am proficient in nutrition, food science, sustainability, and neuroscience. I am passionate about applying science and innovation to create positive impact and value for society and the environment.
