I started off my public service career riding a bike across a remote desert to plan an AIDS outreach tour with only a few supplies and a tiny grasp of the local language. While I have grown a lot since those days, I am still energized by challenges and undaunted when there is no instruction book. Devoted public servant and problem solver, I love working with others to discover solutions. I have 13+ years of public sector management experience and I am passionate about working with communities to increase quality of life. Professional, candid, and easy to laugh, I like to think it is my midwest/Great Lakes roots that make it so easy for me to build relationships with others. I have 10 years experience working with diverse and under represented populations and over 8 years of economic development successes.
