Develops, promotes, maintains, and manages an assigned business/group vendor management program for the completion of contracts and partnerships with Technology suppliers. • Responsible for the negotiation of third-party agreements with specific focus on technology related products and services; coordinates with legal, procurement and other stakeholders as required.• Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives; seeks opportunities to minimize cost.• Responsible for onboarding new vendors, including management of the risk assessments, providing sound judgement in the assessment process, acting as a subject matter expert for our technology managers• Provides effective reporting to the CIOs and LTOs that will aid in the overall management of their contracts/vendors.• Provides specialized support to investigate and resolve complex issues as escalated by end-users or assigned by management.• Coordinates budgets and reporting to track actual results vs budget.• Participates in the design and negotiation and renewal of service level agreement (SLA), technical service agreement (TSA) or business partner agreement (BPA), Assess performance against SLAs/ TSAs/ BPAs.• Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.• Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of supplier arrangements.• Participates in the relationship management between BMO internal business/group partners and suppliers/service providers.• Supports the management of the vendor program, in particular, ongoing due diligence.
