ABOUT ANDREA RAU

I firmly believe in the need to combine academic learning with practical experiences, which help forge the character and professionalism of each of us. For this reason, during my three years of university study at LUISS \"Guido Carli\" I have tried to enrich myself through numerous extracurricular activities, as well as some volunteer experiences.First, participation in the conferences offered by the university, which has led, over the years, to bring me closer to the reality of the Ares association and the newspaper The Nosy Magazine. Thanks to my collaboration with Ares first, and with the newspaper later, I had the opportunity to organize conferences and speak during them. In particular, I had the honor of organizing and concluding a conference with the First President of the Court of Cassation, Margherita Cassano, as well as moderating a discussion on the issue of the single wage between Senator Pellegrino (FDI) and Senator Trevisi (M5S).Starting in 2024, my role as editor of the university newspaper The Nosy Magazine has helped me address new challenges, such as coordinating a large team and engaging with university and student bodies. This opportunity came after a journey between the association and the newspaper that allowed me, over the years, to hold roles such as editorial manager and executive board (in the newspaper), as well as culture manager (in the association). Through constant participation in the planning of events and initiatives, as well as in the drafting of projects that have been funded by the university.Participation in other educational events, such as The Young Hope school or the MUNs organised by the Diplomatici association, followed similar experiences during the high school years, such as the Vice-Presidency at the Provincial Student Council in Syracuse. A role that required me to constantly interact with local authorities, such as school principals, mayors, as well as the prefect and the superintendent. I completed my secondary education with the scientific maturity achieved with a grade of 100/100ths and a year early (so-called \"abbreviazione per merito\").
