ABOUT ANDREA PERAZZETTI
Andrea Perazzetti is a Water Polo Coach and Sport Scientist operating at the intersection of technical coaching and applied performance science. He currently serves as Assistant Coach and Head of Strength & Conditioning for the first team of S.S. Lazio Nuoto, contributing to both tactical development and physical preparation in elite competition. Internationally, he maintains ongoing professional engagement with senior national team environments under the Turkiye Water Polo Federation, supporting preparation for major international competitions. Andrea holds a PhD from the University of Belgrade (Faculty of Sport and Physical Education), where his research focused on training monitoring, repeated sprint ability, and performance profiling in elite water polo athletes. His doctoral pathway, combined with internship experiences in professional clubs, shaped a hybrid coaching philosophy that integrates field presence with structured data interpretation.
