Hi! My name is Andrea Pavon-Cruz, and I am currently a junior, studying Business Administration with my specialization in Entrepreneurship at Illinois Institute of Technology. As a first-generation student, and also a native from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I bring a new perspective into challenges presented in both my studies and workplace.With my current position as Professional Development Chair for the Society of Hispanic and Professional Engineers at IIT, I am a firm believer in learning from any situation presented to you. Regardless of the outcome, an environment for learning is an opportunity for growth, which is a concept that I attempt to apply to every aspect of my life. These roles have not only honed my leadership and organizational skills but also deepened my appreciation for teamwork and innovation. I strive to inspire others while continuously seeking personal and professional development.I am excited to continue embarking on this journey at IIT, where I can merge my passion for business with my dedication to community engagement.
