I’m Andrea Moreno, a passionate advocate for community engagement and a proud 23-year veteran of the utility industry. Born and raised in Tolleson, Arizona, my roots in the West Valley deeply influence my dedication to serving and representing my community. As a mother of three, I understand the importance of creating a positive impact for future generations. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of leading various initiatives that bridge the gap between organizations and the communities they serve. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I’ve built strong relationships that foster collaboration and drive meaningful change. My journey has been marked by a commitment to excellence, recognized through numerous awards, including being named one of the “Women Who Shaped the Past 10 Years” by Dress for Success and one of the “40 Hispanic Leaders Under 40.” In my previous roles, I managed a multimillion-dollar corporate contributions budget and developed programs that aligned with corporate objectives while addressing community needs. My passion for service extends beyond the workplace, as evidenced by my leadership in nonprofit organizations, including overseeing a $20 million budget and raising over annually to support underserved women’s education. Volunteerism is at the heart of who I am. I’m honored to serve on the boards of several organizations, including Arizona Impact for Good and Foundation for Nonprofits, where I work to empower women and promote diversity and inclusion in our community. Every step of my journey has been driven by a desire to make a difference, and I’m excited to continue this work, creating opportunities and building a brighter future for all.
