About Andrea Michaels
I am passionate about the creative storytelling of a brand, product or project to the world through the medium of live events. As the President of Extraordinary Events, and an event professional with many years of experience, I’ve designed and delivered some pretty incredible experiences for clients. Some of my most memorable projects include building a school in a Mayan community outside of Cancun Mexico, producing a live airshow honoring World War II veterans, and creating the Grand Opening of Downtown Summerlin for The Howard Hughes Corporation to name a select few. My career has been colorfully remarkable and has loaded me with the tools, experience, and ability to help clients find the right solutions to achieve and celebrate their defined goals. I’ve had the honor of working with many incredible people including the Dalai Lama, Ray Charles, Michelle Obama, Hilary Clinton, Colin Powell, David Foster, Shania Twain, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana, Ziggy Marley, and most everyone in between. I’ve been recognized by colleagues and organizations around the world with GALA Awards, Crystal Awards, International Business Awards, Stevie Awards, MPI Paragon Awards, Event Spotlight Awards, and my favorite, The Pinnacle Award, recognizing me as the most influential leader in the Industry by the Special Event Industry in conjunction with Special Event Magazine. That was indeed a fantastic moment. For me, the future is exciting. Through the medium of special events and live experiences, I am doing my part to help build a world that is compassionate and welcoming. Whether it is an award gala, product launch, general session, non-profit event, convention, social responsibility project, pop-up activation, tradeshow booth, road shows or incentive trip, I meet each challenge with creativity and deliver results that make a difference.
