As the Lead Coordinator for Project EBEST, I play a key role in advancing the project\'s mission to enhance bilingual and ESL teacher preparation. I manage and support a team of coordinators, graduate assistants, student workers, and instructional consultants to ensure the successful implementation of project initiatives. My responsibilities include recruiting and collaborating with districts, campuses, and educators to expand participation and provide targeted professional development. I also coordinate course instructors and mentors to support candidates pursuing ESL, Bilingual Supplemental, and BTLPT certification.In addition to program management, I contribute to research dissemination by presenting findings at major conferences, including TABE, OELA\'s Director\'s Meeting, and the TASA Midwinter Conference. Through strategic planning and collaboration, I strengthen bilingual education, ensuring educators are equipped with the skills and resources needed to support emergent bilingual students.

ABOUT ANDREA MCMURRAY
With over 20 years as a primary school educator in Texas, I have dedicated my career to fostering high student achievement and advocating for students and their families. My expertise spans K-12 education, ESL instruction, and educational leadership. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. I have also served as an adjunct professor, teaching ESL Methods courses to undergraduate education majors at Texas A&M University. Currently, I am in the dissertation phase of my doctoral degree in Educational Psychology, specializing in Bilingual/ESL education and serve as Lead Coordinator for Project EBEST. As a Graduate Research Assistant, I gained extensive administrative and research experience, supporting faculty, coordinating mentorship programs, and contributing to large-scale federal grants focused on teacher preparation and bilingual education. My role as a Research Specialist and Project Coordinator on projects such as APLUS, LISTO, VICTORY, and EBEST has allowed me to design and lead professional development initiatives, manage research data, recruit and support educators, and contribute to academic publications and conferences.
