ABOUT ANDREA JOHNSON

I am an experienced and accomplished HR professional with 20+ years’ experience. I am energetic, highly motivated and creative, always striving for the best results and open to new ideas and initiatives. Reliable and customer focused, my aim is to collaborate with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcome. I am compliance and process driven with an eye for detail. Key achievements to date: Project Management and the implementation and design of new HR/LMS systems. Management of a successful work experience programme, Future Tech Studio. Working with the studio school I was the main point of contact for the students who were placed with us ensuring high value placements were sourced which aligned to their chosen curriculum pathway. My contribution was rewarded when they asked me to join their Board of Governors.Design, launch and evaluation of EmployAbility initiatives within key stage 4 and 5 at Future Tech Studio. Focused around key employability skills; communication, resilience, team working and emotional intelligence. The programme was delivered to three groups across both key stages and evaluated before and after. The evaluation data would suggest that students moved two levels of progress in their awareness and application of the skills covered.Design and roll out of a bespoke compliance programmes. In various roles adult learning theories were used to create a blended approach to compliance topics such as; DPA, RDCO, Code of Conduct, Money Laundering, PCI, Health and Safety induction, Company Induction, CIS and SIA.Development of bespoke e-learning courses. This offered a flexible approach to training in a cost effective way and provided improved visibility on the transfer of learning.
