ABOUT ANDREA HALL
I am an educator at heart, however, I am not just a teacher. To date I am a teacher, a writer and a designer. As a teacher my professional goal can be summarized in a simple statement: to train students to be critical thinkers, and \"not mere reflectors of other men\'s thoughts” (EG White). I specialize in home school support, health and wellness, mathematics, test administration and test preparation. As a writer my professional goal is to write in such a way that my audience understands the content and is moved to action. In the past I have written/edited five curriculum books for Fresno County Board of Education\'s California PASS program. Finally, as a designer of curriculum, my professional goal is to design curriculum that is interactive, informative and instructional. To date, I have designed online courses for Oaks Christian Online Academy as well as Cyber High. I am now working with Institute for Patient-Centered Design as the Education Director, driving their program forward. Specialties: Designing Curriculum and Assessments, Teaching Mathematics, Teaching AP Calculus AB and BC, Working with gifted and at-risk students
