About Andrea Goreta
Aspiring junior student, double majoring in Business/Accounting and Psychology, actively looking for Summer 2024 internship opportunities. I would like to work in Accounting/Finance field, where I would be able to combine skills and knowledge from both fields of study - I believe that we need to understand a client\'s personality and background first with the aim to understand their financial goals.One of my many hobbies is research! I am proud to say that I have conducted the first research on the topic of mental health attitudes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently, I am researching the link between cognitive abilities and multilingualism. Always happy to help and contribute back to my community, I hold positions of Resident Assistant and Tutor on my campus. For around 18 months, I tutored in Psychology Department, for introductory class and Research Methods and Statistics. From Spring 2024, I will be a tutor for Financial Accounting. These jobs help me stay involved with community and that way show the appreciation for everything that community does for me.
