Chemical Engineer by background with nearly 10 years of origination/business development experience in the LNG business and other 10 years experience in origination and transport in the European natural gas pipeline business.My main LNG experiences are- Origination strategy identifying main markets, best counterparties and developing a market access strategy- Marketing of products (e.g: US LNG) and marketing of company’s core competences to identify and develop synergies (e.g: JVs)- Negotiation and conclusion of MSPAs, long, mid term contracts with main LNG players (especially in India with about 3 years of monthly trips to India)- Identification and development of new business opportunities in LNG (e.g: small scale LNG) or new cross commodity opportunities (e.g: renewable Energy)- Coordinator of origination activities around the globe and developer of tools to follow and rank different sales activities- Deep analysis of access conditions and liabilities of LNG terminals to develop with support from external consultants a tailor made business model and access code for the world’s first multi shipper FSRU (the OLT Offshore LNG Toscana terminal)- Negotiation with shippers and institutions (different Ministries, National authorities) for the approval of the defined access rules (send out and storage rights, fuel gas allocation, balancing regimes, commitments and liabilities between shippers, etc.).My main pipeline experiences are- Origination activities in Europe during the first years of market liberalization and market access (e.g: acquisition of pipeline capacity, development of new delivery points, start up of virtual trading points, etc.)- Negotiation of GSAs and amendments to GSAs to maximize profits and reduce costs in line with changes of regulatory frame work, changed build up requirements and commissioning issues- Participation to European working groups to develop market liquidity and improve access and trading opportunities.
