About Andrea Fleischman
As an Assistant Professor at Creighton University, I am passionate about advancing the field of occupational therapy through teaching, research, and practice. I have nearly 15 years of experience as an occupational therapist registered (OTR) and an occupational therapy doctorate (OTD), specializing in neurological rehabilitation for patients with complex and chronic conditions.I have held various leadership roles in different healthcare settings, such as rehab manager, director of therapy, and lead therapist, where I demonstrated my skills in healthcare management, strategic planning, multidisciplinary collaboration, and program development. I am also a member of the Pi Theta Epsilon National Honor Society for Occupational Therapy. My goal is to contribute to the academic and clinical excellence of occupational therapy and to improve the quality of life of individuals and communities.
