As the Training Manager of Satellite Operating Rooms at Boston Children\'s Hospital and an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Saint Joseph\'s College of Maine, I leverage my master\'s degree in nursing education and over 16 years of perioperative nursing experience to empower our satellite operating room nurses. My mission is to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate care to the children and families we serve.In my role at Boston Children\'s Hospital, I design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive orientation, competency, and professional development programs tailored for our satellite operating room nurses. By collaborating closely with operating room leadership, educators, and staff, I strive to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.As an adjunct clinical instructor at Saint Joseph\'s College of Maine, I bring my real-world experience and insights into the classroom, enriching the educational experience for nursing students.
