Project Lead: Serve as the overall AIT responsible party at the project level.* Work Package Management: Liaise with the Project Manager to define, commit to, and deliver all AIT Work Packages (WPs).* AIT Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive plans for all AIT activities, including staffing and resource allocation.* Cost Control: Define, plan, and control the AIT budget, including tracking current costs, hours spent, and forecasting cost-at-completion.* Schedule Management: Define, plan, and control all AIT schedules, including the high-level master schedule and detailed operational, model, GSE, and logistics timelines.* Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate the AIT team through daily meetings during operational phases in cleanrooms and labs.* Documentation: Ensure all AIT documents are produced and maintained, including the AIT Plan, Risk Register, facility plans, and technical specifications.* Resource Readiness: Guarantee the timely availability of all required AIT assets:* Documentation (Procedures, As-Runs)* Hardware (GSEs) and Software (EGSE, scripting)* Facilities and cleanrooms * Qualified AIT personnel * Test data and results* Technical Reviews: Support, prepare for, and participate in all key AIT reviews (IRR, TRR, PTR).* Compliance: Participate in Non-conformance Review Boards (NRBs) and contribute to decision-making.* Reporting: Report AIT status and progress to the Project Manager and customers, participating in project meetings as required.

I’ve always been in this field of space science and technology, since my inception in the productive world. My experience spanning across several years, I’ve been working in the AIV/AIT and in the EGSE field on many European Space Agency projects, the last of which while serving duties at ESA-ESTEC in the Netherlands.I’ve always felt the need for action, enjoying the passion and challenges of final integration, system testing and spacecraft launches, that I followed while in Europe at industries and ESTEC, and in launch sites, coping with day-to-day activities, strategic planning and problems to be solved quickly and efficiently coordinating with rapid-response teams.
