ABOUT ANDREA CITROLO
I am an enthusiastic and proactive person, I like challenges and people that face them with humor. My education path started in biological sciences (BS in biotechnology in 2009) but quite soon I moved to more quantitative fields and in particular computer science, in 2015 I achieved a PhD in Computer science with a dissertation on optimization algorithms. After the completion of my PhD, I spent more than 3 years working as consultant for some of the biggest companies in Europe including Amadeus, Comau and Magneti Marelli. During this period I was responsible of the development of software applications in different areas including design and implementation of high availability REST/XML micro-services, multiplatform control interface for educational robots with QT, and GNS data management in embedded systems. In the last 3 years I started working on my own project, The Software Academy, this focuses on collaborative learning of technologies and community project development as well as consultancy in specific technological field such cloud applications and software life cycle automation. I am always open to discuss about interesting business opportunities and collaborations, so do not hesitate to contact me.
