Andrea Chang is a partner of the Real Estate practice group in the Los Angeles office and San Francisco office. She has been with the firm since 2005. Her practice includes all aspects of a broad range of real estate and finance transactions, with a focus on real estate loan documentation, workouts, restructuring, maximizing collection on defaulted loans, development, commercial acquisitions, dispositions and leasing. Andrea regularly represents lenders and financial institutions in documenting loans related to land acquisitions, refinancing and construction financing, loan modifications, loan workouts, conduit mortgage loans in a broad range of commercial real estate assets such as multi-family, office, retail, industrial, student housing and hotel projects. She regularly represents public companies, private companies, property management companies and individuals in acquisitions and dispositions of all of the foregoing asset classes as well as real estate portfolios and performing and nonperforming notes. Andrea has also served as lead counsel on more than 200 site acquisitions and leases with development and environmental components throughout California and Nevada in a narrow four year span. Andrea publicly speaks about matters related to real estate and has published a cover article on real estate receiverships in Los Angeles Lawyer magazine.Andrea continues to be recognized each year since 2009 as a Rising Star in Super Lawyers and Los Angeles magazines and since 2012 as a “Top Attorney” by Pasadena Magazine. In 2014, Los Angeles Business Journal her as a “Woman Making A Difference”, US Legal 500 ranked her as a leading individual in real estate and Bisnow recognized her as a \"Top Power Woman in Los Angeles Commercial Real Estate\". In 2015, CREW-LA recognized Andrea as one of two women to receive its \"Women on the Rise\" awards in its 30th Anniversary Gala and Super Lawyers recognized her as “Top Women Attorneys in Southern California”.
