Conducting a 10-week summer research project under the guidance of Dr. Antai Wang through the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program at NJIT. My research focuses on survival analysis, specifically the issue of non-identifiability in models with dependent censoring. Using simulated data and copula models (e.g, Clayton and Hougaard), I demonstrate that different models can produce the same observed outcomes, making it difficult to recover the true relationship between event and censoring times.
