ABOUT ANDREA BONAFEDE

Determined, passionate and versatile.My cultural background has shaped my learning attitude to eclecticism and extended my interests from engineering to computational design. In particular, I would like to explore the digital design process in architectural problems and push it towards automation and distributed autonomous decisions.I love studying and working in team as I believe that sharing different skills, knowledge and personal background experiences is essential to push our reality beyond our perception limits.I graduated at the University of Bologna, completing my master’s degree in Building Engineering-Architecture with a research thesis based upon the study of emergent systems. Here, I explored the architectural potential output of multi-agents systems designed to build assemblages while interacting in the same digital environment during a spatial competition process. The topic has been further discussed in a research paper presented at the 40th eCAADe conference in Ghent. I started working in Bologna, at ZSM studio, managing structural projects of seismic renovation on existing buildings from concept to executive direction as assistant. Then, I\'ve collaborated for almost 3 years with Mario Cucinella Architects as engineer and computational designer ranging my work from competitions to esecutive projects.Currently I\'m working with Oneworks in Milan.
