I now belong to the Carl Van-Awesome Adjusters Group-Currently supervising a team of 6 adjusters in the Pewaukee, WI worker\'s compensation office-Current knowledge of and overseeing claims in the following states: WI, MN, IL, IA, SD-I have handled and am currently now supervising all aspects of open claims from beginning to end, including settlement, and legal disputes, Independant Medical Evaluations, reserving, investigations, lost time benefits payments, state filings, penalty avoidance-I have played a part in the preparation for and presentation of our services to prospective clients-I have attended and handled all pre-hearings (in lieu of attorneys) and hearings on all disputed claims-Currently responsible for all internal audits and claim reviews for my reports-Handle internal HR issues, interview new hires, responsible for onboarding/training of new hires-Work closely with a vast array of different types of employers/clients striving to provide top of the line customer service-Work closely with excess carriers in all aspects they would be involved, reserves/settlements-I have a total of 16 years of worker\'s compensation claims handling experience-Attendance of various worker\'s compensation seminars in the Milwaukee area.Specialties: I am currently researching the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Medicare Set asides to broaden my knowledge and become a go to person for my company. I am also interested in getting back into the theatre and doing some more performing!
