I am a modern-day knitter. If you think that Wall Street or the stock market overuses acronyms, try reading a knitting pattern. K2P2, yo, C4, psso are just a few of the abbreviations in knitters\' jargon. I love creating something from a single strand of yarn.Beginnings are bliss. Think up a new project. Step into a creative world of possibility, no rules or structure, you make up your own rules and create a new structure.Starting a new project means thinking about what you\'re going to make, the colours and textures of yarn. Sometimes working to a pattern but often creating and designing a pattern of my own.I also enjoy teaching others the joy of knitting and crocheting their own projects, so glad that this traditional art is making a comeback in what is becoming a make do and mend culture all over again.
