ABOUT ANDRE KOTZE
Since 2011 when I migrated to Australia, I have been working in the Electrical utilities industry in WA. I also have 20 years experience in the Telecommunication (MW & Optical Fibre) industry combined 16 years experience in the Cellular Mobile industry. I am a PMP and Prince II certified Project Management Professional while I also earned a Bachelors degree in Business Management, a Diploma and Trade in Electrical Engineering. Recently I completed a CertIV Management qualification through Leadership Management Australia. I am highly proficient in MS Office applications combined with.Net development. I am confident and act as the business is my own, lead by example and positively influence other team members. I naturally encourage process improvement towards increased efficiency, specifically in an operational environment. My initiatives are fresh, original and self driven. I am reliable, a team player and I also have a strong tendency and ability to work independently and unsupervised. My strong analytical and logical attributes always result in efficient and effective processes & procedures supported by specifically tailored information and intelligence systems that I develop. While working for Western Power, I project managed several Major Distribution Projects, Major Distribution Capital Programs and lately Transmission Capital Programs. My current focus is the further development of Business Intelligence across all operational disciplines within Western Power, which feeds official business reporting systems. Official operational BI systems either rely on this information or make use of the methodologies/mechanisms I developed to be reliable & accurate. My motivation and satisfaction comes from leaving medium and long term legacies.
