I’m Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Deetken, where I work with public sector leaders to make better decisions on some of their most complex initiatives. My focus is on providing financial and economic analysis that supports large government projects, from major infrastructure and social programs to complex procurements and commercial agreements.For more than 20 years, I’ve supported governments and public sector organizations on initiatives that require rigorous analysis, clear options, and strong stakeholder engagement. Much of my work involves- Designing and applying economic and financial models to inform policy, funding, and investment decisions- Supporting complex procurements and commercial negotiations, including risk allocation and value-for-money assessments- Leading studies that combine quantitative and qualitative data, and building practical frameworks and tools for ongoing decision-making- Translating technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior decision-makersIn healthcare, I work with ministries, health authorities, and system leaders on questions such as- How to structure and fund new models of care- How to assess the long-term impacts and trade-offs of major capital and service investments- How to design contracts and partnerships that balance innovation, risk, and value for patients and taxpayersMy experience spans multiple sectors – including social services, infrastructure, employment services, and other large-scale government initiatives – with a consistent focus on helping clients navigate complexity, balance risk and value, and deliver better outcomes for the public. Across all of my work, I aim to bring rigour, pragmatism, and partnership to support effective, evidence-based decision-making.Earlier in my career, I worked with global consulting firms in strategy and finance, which helped shape my approach: combining analytical rigour with practical, collaborative problem-solving.
