Mr. Augier has 33 years of investment banking experience. Mr. Augier has advised public and private corporations, private equity firms, hedge funds and pension funds. Mr. Augier has extensive experience in industrial merger and acquisition transactions, cross border transactions, capital raising transactions, fairness opinions, public to private transactions and balance sheet restructuring.Prior to Cowen, Mr. Augier was a Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of Quarton International and Co-Founder and Managing Director at W.Y. Campbell & Company. Prior to W.Y. Campbell & Company, Mr. Augier was a Vice President in Fahnestock & Co.’s Corporate Finance Group where, he assisted in a wide variety of merger and acquisition transactions, public bond issues, initial public offerings and leveraged finance transactions.Mr. Augier is fluent in French, a graduate of Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business where he received his B.A. in Finance and of Walsh College where he received his Masters of Science in Finance with Honors.Mr. Augier is a licensed securities representative, holding his Series 7, 24, 28, 63 and 79 registrations.
