ABOUT ANDRÉ ALCALDE

Co-Founder of CELUS, one of the most innovative startups in the electronics design industry, set to make electronics engineering more efficient and accessible to all engineers across the globe.Since I was kid, I had fascination for every aspect of electronics. During my work at industry giants, such as TDK, Delta Electronics and Intel, I gathered a deep understanding of the challenges on design processes, both from component manufacturers\' perspective, as well as a hardware engineer for advanced power supplies.In 2018, we established CELUS as a company to address these challenges and drive change in the industry.After the first years leading the product team, taking the product that secured our first deals and investments out of the ground, I now spend most of my time with technology strategy, coordinating research efforts on the most recent AI developments and leading the path towards their application in our industry.Beyond that, I like to speak in events and podcasts to raise awareness, motivate people and attract interest to this important field. My favorite topics are the evolution of electronics design, the role of AI in engineering, and strategies to develop and maintain technological leadership.I am committed to pushing boundaries, and too stubborn to shy away from new things.
