   The Director of Volunteers and Engagement is a full-time leadership position responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing volunteer, intern, staff, partner, and community engagement initiatives. As a member of the leadership team, this role ensures that all programs align with the organization\'s mission and actively contributes to the development and implementation of leadership goals. This position oversees the recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers and interns who provide direct services to clients and support administrative teams. Additionally, the Director coordinates community and partner agency involvement, organizes training opportunities, and leads public awareness events. This role plays a critical part in fostering a collaborative culture within the agency and strengthening relationships with external stakeholders to advance Palomar’s mission and vision. The Director of Volunteers and Engagement supervises the Marketing & Communications Manager and Engagement Assistant.
