About Andie Johnson

I slept through the LSAT. When I was first registered to take the LSAT, I slept through all of my alarms, and missed the test entirely. The next time I was scheduled to take it you better believe I made sure to have multiple alarms set, and multiple phone calls scheduled from friends and family to make sure I made it to the test. And I can proudly say I woke up on time, took the test, and went off to law school. Flash forward to the night before the first day of the CA Bar Exam- as I wrapped up my phone call with my parents they jokingly asked if my alarm was set. I laughed and let them know I had a few set, but to please call me- I did not want a repeat of the last big test. And I can also proudly say that I woke up on time, took the exam, and passed!After I passed the CA Bar, I started working at Starz Entertainment/ Lionsgate Television. I was able to handle a heavy volume of development and production responsibilities such as drafting agreements, providing legal advice, and managing internal rights. I learned a lot and discovered my passion for working in television. I then moved to Paramount Global to their Business & Legal Affairs Fellowship. I started in the Business & Legal Affairs-Talent group for Nickelodeon and Awesomeness TV. After a year in at Nickelodeon I knew it was the right fit, and now can say I’m an official member of Nick team. I handle on a wide variety of development and production deals from test option agreements for original programming to integrated marketing productions for both animation and live-actions projects.I am passionate about my job and love what I do! I am looking forward to continuing to learn more about the industry and work my way up the ladder.
