An Ofsted outstanding Local Authority working within the groundbreaking change initiative where adult workers in domestic abuse, substance use and mental health working alongside child and family social workers to effect lasting change in families.Focus is on longer-term interventions, including statutory social work, child protection, court and care proceedings.Balance risk management and safeguarding with prioritising a whole-family approach and using motivational interviewing techniques to effect change.Accountable for taking the lead role in the multi-disciplinary team around the family; progressing plans, chairing reviews and professionals meetings.
