Outline:Developed transformational programme strategies to enable construction delay mitigations and implementing them by setting, communicating, and promoting clear visions, aims and objectives. In dispensing his duties Andrew manages uncertainty and complex requirements and stakeholder expectations, selects, and controls delivery options, and appraises risk, estimates and investment decisions.Key Responsibilities:1. Leading development and implementation of a complex, cross-cutting programme Andrew enables the introduction of construction capabilities including optimised off-construction-site logistics and storage capability designed to control construction commodity flows from the globally dispersed supply chain into construction supporting civils, nuclear and conventional island works programmes.2. Andrew drives the realisation of new capabilities through project governance processes to mitigate operational risk and uncertainty. By collaborating with project stakeholders at all levels Andrew ensures strategies are communicated effectively and inter-organisational interdependencies are managed and de-conflicted.4. Working closely with the executive team and programme directors Andrew influences successful outcomes by engendering investment papers that enable effective decision making through the project governing boards. Through continually monitoring risks, opportunities and issues effecting programme implementation Andrew ensures risk mitigation is applied, issues are manged effectively, and opportunities are realised.Key Achievements & Benefits:1. Development of strategies and refinement of execution process for construction programme delivery.Formulation of compelling business cases to identify costs and benefits.2. Significantly improved our client’s confidence to mitigate delays during construction by decoupling procurement, design and manufacture of plant and equipment from the critical path.
