ABOUT AMY ANDERSON
I didn’t take a straight path to the legal field, and that’s part of what makes me good at what I do. I started in public sector research, spent years working in business and running my own company, and now I’m finishing my paralegal certificate and moving into legal work. Every step along the way has involved working with information, keeping things organized, and making sure the details are right. I’m someone who likes things to make sense. If a system is messy, I’ll fix it. If something feels off, I’ll look closer. I’ve spent a lot of time managing documents, tracking moving pieces, and making sure work gets done accurately even when the pace is fast. That kind of environment suits me. I don’t get overwhelmed easily, and I don’t cut corners. What’s pulling me toward legal work, especially in public service, is that it matters and people are relying on you to get it right. I take that seriously. I’m not coming into this casually. I’m building a career here, and I’m willing to put in the work to do it well.Outside of work, I’m pretty easygoing. I like being outdoors, I have a strange attachment to the color orange, and I will always say yes to frozen yogurt. I also genuinely enjoy talking to people and tend to find common ground quickly. No matter where you\'re from or your background, I guarantee we have something in common. If you’re looking for someone who is steady, pays attention, and follows through, we’ll likely get along.
