Anders Ike, based in Charlotte, NC, is a Development Associate at Asana Partners. Before joining the team at Asana, Anders worked in multifamily development at Johnson Development Associates and healthcare project management with JE Dunn Construction. Anders graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University with a degree in Construction Science and Management (“CSM”).As a Development Associate at Asana Partners, Anders’ responsibilities include leading redevelopment design, permitting, and construction of retail, office, and mixed-use projects in Chicago, Minneapolis and Salt Lake City. During his time at JDA, Anders was responsible for overseeing due diligence, entitlements, design, permitting and construction of JDA’s Multifamily projects in the Carolinas. While at JE Dunn, Anders served as a Project Engineer on a multitude of healthcare projects within Carolinas Medical Center for Atrium Health, in addition to a ground-up 30-bed hospital in Franklin, NC for HCA Healthcare. Anders’ responsibilities included managing material procurement, contracting, design and field coordination, and the oversight of the project budget and schedule. As a student at Clemson, Anders had the opportunity to participate on various construction competition teams including the AGC Design-Build, PDC Healthcare Summit and the NAHB student competition (his NAHB team placed 4th in the nation in 2019). Driven by his passion for leadership and the advancement of CSM students as a whole, Anders served as the President of Clemson’s Constructors Guild, the umbrella organization over all other groups within the CSM Department. During Anders’ tenure, he established the Student Advisory Board, a student group that meets with the Dean of the Department monthly to discuss the health of the CSM major. Anders also launched the inaugural CSM Parents Weekend Cookout, which aimed to foster a greater sense of community throughout the program. Outside of the Construction Science and Management Major, Anders actively volunteered for the ClemsonLIFE program, which enabled him to cultivate relationships with ClemsonLIFE students and share his interest in wellness as a one-on-one \"fitness buddy.” Apart from his academic and professional career, Anders enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing, hiking, watching sports (specifically the Clemson Tigers), hunting, and tackling new fitness challenges. During 2020, Anders obtained his NASM Certified Personal Training Certification; he looks forward to leveraging this certification to help others in their health & fitness endeavors.
