ABOUT ANDAVAR S
As the Corporate Head of Mathematics and IBDP Math HL/SL teacher at THE INDIAN PUBLIC SCHOOL,(TIPS), I oversee the math curriculum and instruction across all the campuses in Tamil Nadu. I have been in this role since May 2013, after serving as the Corporate Advisor for Mathematics for one month. I have a Master of Science Education (M.Sc.Ed) degree in Mathematics from the Regional Institute of Education, Manasagangothri Mysore.My core competencies include developing and implementing effective math teaching and learning strategies, mentoring and coaching math teachers, and enhancing student engagement and achievement in math. I am passionate about making math accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for all learners, and fostering a culture of inquiry, collaboration, and excellence in math education. I am also fluent in Telugu, and enjoy reading, traveling, and gardening in my spare time.
