Directing Housekeeping and Laundry Associates and a commercial laundry account in the fulfillment of hotel projects assignments within budget, with quality and on schedule.* Daily Human Resources Managment and Payroll handling • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and safety throughout the Hotel. • Preserving the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc. and the appearance of housekeeping areas, and performs regular inspections of the Hotel and the Guest rooms for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties. • Assuring that housekeeping staff follows established safety regulations in the use of equipment and always supplies. • Inspecting of storage rooms, utility, and janitorial closet, etc, for upkeep and supply control. • Requisitions of all Housekeeping supplies and equipment and maintains adequate inventory levels to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. • Developing and maintained written policy and procedures for housekeeping and laundry services and activities with other related departments in the Hotel. • Communicating with other Departments, Managers, and supervisors to adequately plan for housekeeping, Front Office services and activities. • Coordinating Housekeeping, Laundry and Dry cleaning services and activities with other related departments. • Processing payables efficiently, according to policies and procedures. • Preparing and planned the housekeeping department budget Management for review and approval. • Seeking out new methods and principles and incorporating them into existing housekeeping practices. • Attending and participating in Strategic Hotel part of Executive Management Team meetings. • Participating in continuing education opportunities for personal growth and development. • Joint Health and Safety Leading Chair for the Hotel. • Performing other job duties and projects as directed.
