As WYP’s first Sustainability Manager, I lead the internal change to develop and deliver Force\'s first Sustainability Strategy (2024), ‘embedding’ sustainability in everything we do- Externally, I am dedicating a portion of my time to coordinate and accelerate joined-up emergency fleet transition planning to ensure readiness for electric vehicles and mitigate operational risks to blue light service delivery- In 2023-24, I led a national working group which developed a common and consistent emissions\' reporting guidance across the emergency services (incl. police, fire and rescue, and ambulance services) and, in 2024, developed and delivered the first-ever Carbon Literacy training for the police- Have an active role in emergency services sector working groups, aimed at fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange on sustainability, fleet transition, and decarbonisation- Received an Outstanding Contribution Award for “restless, tireless and fearless” commitment to sustainability in policing.

I have spent 10+ years working in a range of sectors - from civil service and NGOs to research, consultancy & regulated utilities and, now, emergency services.
