I joined sustainability consulting with one of the first firms offering ESG services in Romania, while studying at the world’s #2 university in Environmental Technology. Then, I discovered two things:1⃣ My drive for process innovation: designing methodologies, databases, and digital tools that make sustainability measurable. 2⃣ My passion for bringing research into industry: translating data, scientific discoveries, and international frameworks into strategy.Fast forward 3 years later, I’ve supported 40+ companies (in Eastern Europe and Italy), with 6 of Romania’s 20 largest Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) listed across energy, aluminium, transport, and healthcare. I led environmental data analyses for CSRD-aligned sustainability reports, designed double materiality methodologies, and co-created the first Romanian software platform that quantifies ESG impacts, risks, and opportunities through a global statistical model.Recently, I relocated to Italy and returned to my technical roots: carbon accounting, climate data analysis, climate risk, and streamlined LCA frameworks. Sustainability isn’t about compliance; it’s about redesigning how industries create value, at the intersection of science, data, and strategy.
