As a Data Steward, I play a key role in driving data quality, consistency, and governance across the organization. I work closely with business units and technical teams to ensure proper data classification, ownership, and regulatory compliance. My responsibilities include maintaining data dictionaries and metadata, supporting the implementation of governance policies, overseeing data lifecycle activities, working on MDM and resolving data-related issues. I also contribute to ongoing data migration efforts by supporting data mapping, validation, and creating business glossaries to ensure accurate and seamless transition of data. Part of my work also includes visualizations and research on workflows and data across company. Along with managing Master data in ERP.I focus on improving data integrity and enabling trusted, well-managed data for decision-making. Along with that validating Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) and analyzing discrepancies across multiple systems to identify root causes of data differences are my additional responsibilities.
