ABOUT ANDY BOYLE
I am an agile professional with wide industry experience and exemplary stakeholder management skills. I am equally at home operating as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master or Agile Coach and can switch between these “hats” as needed. That facility has been honed in telecoms, insurance, financial services, fitness and semiconductor sectors and in a range of scale from multi nationals to start ups. What the Agile Delivery Lead hat brings to the table from this range of experience is the ability to quickly work out what business outcomes our stakeholders envision and set the program or project on a route towards those outcomes – fully expecting to course-correct and fully expecting it to be complex. What the Agile Coach’s hat brings is the drive to help teams discover their agility in a way which energises their relationship with their work, unlocks their intrinsic motivation, fosters a positive team environment, and produces value for their business and customers. As an agilist, I believe I should be continually assessing my own performance and improving - coming to each problem with humility and a willingness to learn. As such I have recently formalised my learning by attaining professional certificates in Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF), Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC), Enterprise Agility (ICP-ENT) and SAFe 6.0 Release Train Engineer.Underpinning all the above is an interest in people and solid written, verbal and visual communication skills.Specific skills I’ve picked up along the way include the following. • Workshop design and facilitation• Strategyzer Business and Value Proposition Canvases• Backlog shaping and management• How to shape and present roadmaps• User Story Mapping• Role mapping• Report writing• Organisational change management• Jira and Azure DevOps
